Other gymnastics camps only dream about facilities like ours!
Our housing is definitely a step above the rest. Each dorm room has a closet,
bureaus, desks, and chairs. There is a phone on every dorm floor. Our staff
have cell phones for emergencies. No need to make a trip outside, bathroom
facilities are on each dorm floor. Each dorm has its own laundry facility
and lounge.
Food
Our food is provided by Mount Holyoke College Food Service. The menu is designed
for young athletes. There is always a nice selection of main dishes, drinks, a salad
bar and deserts.
Who lives in the dorms with your children? Staff that are trained in all areas of camping.
Parents appreciate the fact that our camp owners, Directors, Counselors, Dorm Moms,
Nurses and Athletic Trainers, all sleep in the same dorms as our campers. We also have
Jr. Counselors who assist our adult staff.
We have slide card security entry to our dorms. We also have campus security
guards who are with us twenty four hours a day. We also have outside dorm security
cameras. Our goal has always been to provide camper supervision that parents expect.
Our Dorm Facilities
Here's what it's like for campers living in our dorms:

Best Boys Room!

Living in their favorite holiday room.

No Cramped Dorms at USGTC!

Friends for Life!

Living in Paradise

Living in Luxury
Counselors
Each dorm floor has at least two counselors. Our gymnasts and staff on each
floor have small group meetings every evening after showering and preparing for
bed. Counselors always accompany campers to and from all activities.
Roommates
Campers get to choose their own roommates. Two or three campers can room
together. No more than three to a dorm room!
Parents
Most of our campers come with a friend, but we can arrange to find a camper
one or two roommates of the same approximate age.
Teams
Teams are housed on one or two adjoining floors, depending on the number of
campers on a team. This means they might have the opportunity of meeting more
new friends. That is what USGTC dorm camp life is all about!
Youth Dorm Campers Age 8-9
An older camper can room with a youth dorm camper on a youth dorm, but must
be no more than two years older. Our younger campers enjoy the same gymnastics
and recreational opportunities as our older campers.
They have an earlier bedtime - 9:30. They are housed in special dorm areas,
away from older campers. Our dorm youth staff are selected because they work
especially well with that age group.
